Calling Trail Running athletes for mini doc

Calling all trail runners

Seeking a local Bay Area trail runner with an inspiring story to be the subject of a mini documentary series about endurance athletes.

Auditions due 2/28

The perfect candidate: A trail runner with a great story, who can run on camera AND speak passionately to what drives them in the sport.

Role: Adult trail runner: Bay Area local, any age, gender, or ethnicity (non-local okay, but responsible for own travel)

Filming: A full-day shoot during the week of 3/31–4/4 near Point Reyes, CA. Likely 7am-7pm. Filming would consist of an interview about your story, as well as footage of you running in various locations. Some shots of the athlete casually using the products will also be filmed (protein powder, recovery drink mix, energy drink mix, etc).

Rate: $500 flat for the day. Meals and parking will be covered.

Sponsor: Kyhv (like ‘dive’) is a new nutrition brand focused on natural ingredients and recycled packaging, based in Utah. A sister brand to the popular Lakanto products.

Audition: Record a selfie video introducing yourself, your background in trail running and explaining your story. Then apply using the form below by midnight PST on 2/28/25. Thanks for applying!
