Yep. Our plans scale up to match your content demand. No monthly quotas here. Like an employee, we just keep making more videos.

Any type! These plans work best for smaller, ongoing video needs. Think of us as a remote video department, or an expansion pack to your team. We’ll determine if a project doesn’t fit within your monthly plan, and give you a quote for bigger projects.  

Larger and more demanding projects (or rushed deadlines) are better suited as standalone projects. Most of our work is done standalone, with full-time access to our team. We'll happily give you an estimate for these projects.

The main factors are:

• If we estimate the project will require more bandwidth per month than your plan covers

• If we estimate the project will cost us more than your plan covers

• If the project requires services that are outside your plan (for example, production) 

That depends on the videos! Some can be made in a day, others need weeks or months – it's all based on your goals. We can make multiple simple social posts in a day, while an explainer or a more complex video might take weeks or more. We’ll plan a reasonable workload to meet your goals, based on our bandwidth and costs. This way, you're in control of the value you're getting. If your projects need more bandwidth, or if we have downtime, we’ll update you to make sure you’re getting the most bang for your buck.

This is a helpful way to make our workload realistic. Our team will be working hands-on with one project at a time (for Small plans, 3 for Medium, and 7 for Large), so our team can focus on delivering fast results for you on each video deadline. We'll still plan ahead for upcoming projects, but limiting the amount of active projects helps prevent unnecessary juggling (and delays). If a new project becomes a priority, no problem – we can put your active project on hold, and jump onto the next one. You can also bump up your plan during busy months.

Basically. But way better! Instead of fussing over hours, going over or under at the end of every month, we designed these plans to work like a salary: our team is working for you every week, so keep us busy! You're reserving our availability.

No such thing! We don't measure your plan in hours. Like an employee, our team is partially available to you during business hours, and we're eager to be put to work. We’ll help you find ways to make the most of your plan. We are literally Boy Scouts and once our clients see the light, they prefer this approach versus a traditional retainer. It's never been an issue.

We've found tracking hours to be a lose-lose hassle that annoys clients, and punishes us for being fast. Instead, our plans have the natural flow of working with an employee: we reserve some of our bandwidth and productivity just for you. Together, we'll scope and plan your projects to ensure that we're using your budget to the fullest, while being fair to our team. Think of it as approximately part-time bandwidth. This allows us to make constant progress on your videos, while maintaining other clients, too.

Easy. Just bump up your plan to the next level for that busy month, and go back down to your typical plan the following month. You can change it up as much as you want.

We never bill for surprise costs. If your projects are at risk of spilling beyond your plans, we'll notify you right away, and explain your options. It’s easy to add-on more services when you need them.

Yep. That’s the point! These plans work just as well for a single brand or a busy agency. Put us on all your clients, we'll make you look good.

We're not fans of white labeling, except with special rules, so ask us more if you're planning on it.

Totally! We have some rules for this, but we think transparency is much easier. Why hide us? People like knowing that Heck is behind their content. However we understand that this might be important to some clients. Ask us more about white labelling.

You’ll sign a legal document (Video Service Agreement) that starts with a 3 month minimum, then your plan is month-to-month. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel anytime.

Yes! When you pre-pay for 12 months, we’ll offer a generous discount as a thank-you for being a long-term partner.

You can subscribe with a credit card, or set up auto-pay invoices (or direct deposits). Monthly payments are due on the 1st of each month. Any additional costs will be billed separately, with your approval.

Cancel anytime, with 3 month’s notice (for example cancel in January, and March will be your final month). Or cancel immediately with a 1-month closing fee. Refunds and pro-rating are not available.

No fees, and we always get your approval on any potential overages.

Some things aren’t covered by your plan – just like a salary doesn’t cover project expenses. For example: 

• Digital assets or materials needed for a project, that aren’t included in Heck's existing asset subscriptions

• Equipment or software that needs to be purchased or rented

• Subcontractors that exceed our typical rates

• Additional services like production

Brands (and agencies) love this approach because this is cheaper and better than hiring an employee! Heck makes it easy to get a steady stream of new video content, without the hassles of freelancers or employees. We’re the alternative to an in-house video team. For a much better value, we give you access to the whole in-house Heck team, and scale as needed.
